Mets Blow Lead, Lose to Marlins
April 28th, 2009. The New York Mets lost today to the Florida Marlins 7-4. The Mets led 2-0, then 3-2, then 4-2 behind Livan Hernandez’s pitching. Hernandez departed in the sixth, but Sean Green was unable to hold the lead. This was the bullpens fourth loss already this season, and has some fans having nightmares about similarities to last years bullpen.
