Friday, May 22, 2009. In their first game of interleague play, the New York Mets snapped their losing streak and beat the Boston Red Sox 5-3. Johan Santana had to work out of a number of jams (the Mets three errors didn’t help). Francisco Rodriguez finished the game for Santana and earned his twelveth save in twelve chances.
